Technical assistance · Hourly rate
On-demand web development. 50 €/hour.
For one-off interventions, with no project or volume commitment. Estimate provided before each session. Based in Lille, available remotely across France.
Who it's for
When a fixed project doesn't fit
Your site works well, but you need to add a feature, fix a lingering bug, integrate a third-party tool, or update a specific section. Not enough to justify a full project. Too technical to handle yourself.
This hourly rate is for tradespeople, shopkeepers, freelancers and small businesses with specific, one-off needs. No subscription, no volume commitment: you pay for what is done, when you need it.
How it works
Estimate, approval, delivery
You describe what you need. I provide an estimate of the time required before starting. You approve it. I carry out the work and send you a report detailing what was done and the time spent.
If the complexity exceeds the initial estimate during the intervention, I inform you before continuing. You decide at every step. The invoice reflects the actual time spent, nothing more.
Scope
What I can do in a few hours
Adding a page or section to an existing site. Integrating a form, booking tool or payment link. Fixing a visual or functional bug. Updating content or design in a specific area.
Page load speed optimisation. Adding structured data for SEO. Connecting two tools via a simple API. Work on WordPress, Astro, HTML/CSS/JavaScript or custom-built sites.
Pricing
50 €/hour, transparent
The rate is 50 € per hour, estimated and approved before each intervention. The minimum billed duration is 30 minutes. Beyond that, time is counted per quarter hour. A report is sent after each session.
For clients with regular needs, we can agree on a monthly or quarterly block of hours. This simplifies billing without locking you into a subscription with pre-defined deliverables.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask me
What is the minimum billable time?
The minimum billed duration is 30 minutes. Beyond that, time is rounded up to the nearest quarter hour. Each session comes with a detailed report of the work carried out.
Can we set a maximum budget before starting?
Yes. Before each intervention, I provide a time estimate. You approve this amount before I begin. If the actual work exceeds the estimate, I let you know before continuing.
Does this rate cover all types of development?
Yes: front-end, HTML/CSS integration, JavaScript, WordPress, Astro, bug fixes, feature additions, small automations. Complex projects requiring a specific architecture may be quoted as a fixed-price project instead.
Can this rate be combined with a fixed-price project?
Yes. A site built as a fixed-price project can then be maintained and improved at the hourly rate. This is a common arrangement for clients with ongoing needs after the initial delivery.
How is time tracked?
Each session comes with a report sent after the intervention: tasks completed, time spent, result. The invoice reflects this detail without a catch-all line.
